Power Apps Development
Custom Business Apps Built on Microsoft Power Platform — Designed Around How You Actually Work
Your business has processes that don’t fit neatly into off-the-shelf software. Spreadsheets that should be apps. Approval chains that run through email. Data entry that gets done twice because systems don’t talk to each other. Microsoft Power Apps lets us build custom applications that solve these exact problems — fast, affordable, and fully integrated with the Microsoft tools your team already uses.
The Problem
Your Business Has Outgrown Spreadsheets — But Doesn't Need Enterprise Software
You’ve got processes that are too complex for spreadsheets but not complex enough to justify a six-figure enterprise software purchase. Maybe your team tracks inventory in Excel, manages approvals through email chains, or enters the same data into multiple systems because nothing is connected. It works — barely — but it’s slow, error-prone, and doesn’t scale.
Off-the-shelf software might solve part of the problem, but it comes with features you don’t need, workflows that don’t match yours, and a price tag that keeps climbing. What you actually need is an application built specifically for how your business operates — one that connects to your existing data, automates the repetitive parts, and gives your team a tool they’ll actually use.
That’s exactly what Power Apps is designed for.
Data Science Services Built Around Your Business Questions
Operational & Workflow Apps
Replace manual processes with apps that guide your team through structured workflows. Approval chains, request forms, task assignments, status tracking — anything that currently lives in email or spreadsheets can become a streamlined, automated application. Submissions trigger notifications, data flows where it needs to go, and managers get visibility without chasing people down.
Data Management & Reporting Apps
Build apps that collect, organize, and surface your business data in one place. Instead of pulling numbers from three different systems to create a report, your team opens one app and sees everything — real-time, accurate, and formatted for the decisions they need to make. These apps connect directly to Power BI for visual dashboards and analytics.
Field & Mobile Apps
For teams that work in the field — contractors, inspectors, service technicians — we build mobile-optimized Power Apps that let employees submit forms, capture photos, log time, and access job information from their phones. Data syncs back to your central system automatically, eliminating paper forms and manual data entry.
Customer & Policy Management Apps
Need to manage customer records, track policies, handle billing, or coordinate documents? We build model-driven Power Apps that give your team a complete view of each customer or account — with all related data, documents, and history accessible from a single interface.
Integration & Automation
Power Apps doesn’t exist in isolation. We use Power Automate to connect your apps to the rest of your Microsoft ecosystem and third-party services. When someone submits a form, it can automatically update SharePoint, send a Teams notification, create a calendar event, generate a PDF, and email the customer — all without anyone lifting a finger.
See It in Action: Community Insurance Center
Community Insurance Center (CIC) is a broker insurance company that was struggling with data management and paying expensive third-party fees for software that still didn’t do what they needed. They wanted the ability to build an in-house policy administration system that connected all parts of their organization — policy management, customer records, billing, and documents — in one place.
We built a complete policy administration system using custom model-driven and canvas Power Apps on the Microsoft Power Platform. Policy, customer, and company data is now managed in Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint, giving the CIC team a unified system for managing their daily operations. They can securely track tasks, manage documents, record and generate policy data, handle invoicing, and manage customer information — all within the same Microsoft environment they were already using.
The result: CIC replaced expensive third-party software with a custom-built system that does exactly what they need, costs less, and integrates seamlessly with their existing tools.
Why Power Apps Over Custom Software?
If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Power Apps is the fastest and most cost-effective way to build custom business applications. Here’s why:
It Lives Where Your Team Already Works
Power Apps integrates natively with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Azure. Your team doesn’t need to learn a new platform or switch between systems. The apps show up right inside the tools they already open every day.
Faster to Build, Faster to Change
Traditional custom software takes months to develop. Power Apps’ low-code platform lets us build and deploy functional applications in weeks. And when your business needs change — a new field, a different workflow, an additional report — we can update the app quickly without a major development cycle.
Lower Cost Than Traditional Development
Because Power Apps uses a low-code approach and connects to infrastructure you’re already paying for (Microsoft 365, Azure, Dataverse), the development cost is significantly lower than building a fully custom application from scratch. You get a tailored solution without the custom software price tag.
Your Data Stays Secure
Power Apps runs on Microsoft’s enterprise-grade security infrastructure. Your data stays within your Microsoft environment — protected by the same security, compliance, and access controls you already have in place.
How We Work
1. Discovery & Process Mapping
We start by understanding the business process you want to improve — not the technology. We map your current workflow, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and define what the app needs to do. This phase ensures we build the right thing, not just a thing.
2. Design & Prototype
We design the app's interface and logic, then build a working prototype you can interact with. You see the app before it's finished — and provide feedback that shapes the final product. No surprises at launch.
3. Build & Integrate
We develop the full application, connect it to your data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, third-party APIs), and configure Power Automate workflows for any automation. Everything is tested against real data and real scenarios.
4. Deploy & Train
We deploy the app to your team, provide hands-on training, and make sure everyone is comfortable using it. We don't hand over a login and disappear — we stay engaged until your team is confident and the app is performing as expected.
5. Support & Evolve
Business processes change. New requirements emerge. We provide ongoing support to maintain, update, and extend your Power Apps as your business evolves. Think of us as your long-term Power Platform partner, not a one-time vendor.
Common Questions About Power Apps Development
Power Apps is Microsoft’s low-code application development platform. It lets businesses build custom web and mobile applications that connect to their existing data and automate workflows — without the time and cost of traditional software development. It’s part of the Microsoft Power Platform alongside Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
No. In fact, most of our clients come to us specifically because their data isn’t organized. Assessing, cleaning, and structuring your data is often the first phase of any engagement. That’s where our ETL services come in.
Simple apps (forms, trackers, approval workflows) can be built in 1–2 weeks. More complex applications with multiple data sources, advanced logic, and integrations typically take 4–8 weeks. We scope every project upfront so you know the timeline before we begin.
In many cases, yes. We’ve helped clients replace expensive third-party platforms with custom Power Apps that do exactly what they need at a fraction of the cost. The CIC case study is a great example — they replaced costly policy management software with a custom Power Apps solution built around their actual workflow.
Yes. Power Apps is designed to be accessible to non-developers. For simple changes — adding a field, adjusting a dropdown, updating text — your team can make those updates directly. For more complex changes, we’re available to help.
