APA Students
I am Anuola Boland also known as Annie. I was born in Trinidad. I am an actress, author, poet, playwright and screen writer. My interest in the performing arts began at a very young age as I was fascinated by the skills portrayed by actors and actresses in movies and TV shows.
In my school life I did Sciences but in my late secondary school life and the quarantine period during Covid-19, I grew to realize that science wasn’t something I wanted to do for the ‘rest of my life.’ This was a catalyst in my decision to apply at the Academy of the Performing Arts (APA) at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), to study Performing Arts.
